If payment has already been processed, a full refund will be issued for any cancelled items.

Payment must be received before your order is prepared and/or dispatched.

Transactions are securely processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.

7. Availability

Many of our products are fresh, refrigerated or frozen and stock levels can change quickly.

If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we may:

  • substitute it only where you have authorised substitutions;
  • partially fulfil the order;

  • issue a refund.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery is not available for refrigerated or frozen goods at this time. For dry products and supplements - delivery times provided are estimates only.

While we make every effort to deliver orders in a timely manner, we are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • couriers;
  • weather;
  • public holidays;
  • supplier shortages;
  • events beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are correct.

If delivery fails due to incorrect information supplied by the customer, additional delivery charges may apply.

9. Frozen & Refrigerated Products

Many products sold by The Curious Dog require refrigeration or freezing.

Customers acknowledge that:

  • someone should be available to receive deliveries where required;
  • products should be refrigerated or frozen promptly upon delivery;
  • we are not responsible for spoilage resulting from products being left unattended after confirmed delivery.

Delivery may be restricted to selected locations depending on product type.

10. Returns & Refunds

Our Returns Policy forms part of these Terms.

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to remedies where products:

  • are faulty;
  • are not as described;
  • are not of acceptable quality;
  • are unfit for their intended purpose.

Due to health and food safety requirements, we generally cannot accept returns of pet food or frozen products simply because you change your mind or your dog doesn't like it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to replacing, repairing or refunding the affected product.
